Innovations for Sustainable Agriculture
The Biocyclic Vegan Association will be represented at BIOFACH 2025, the world’s largest trade fair for organic food, from February 11 to 14 in Nuremberg. Interested professionals can meet the association at two locations:
Hall 9, Booth 9-541: Presentation at the NGO stand with information on the principles and goals of biocyclic vegan agriculture.
Hall 7, Booth 7-751, bioPress Meeting Point BIOimSEH, Matchmaking Area: Featuring a product shelf with a selection of biocyclic vegan products. Visitors will find high-quality foods labeled with the Biocyclic Vegan Quality Seal, including olive oil, wine, fresh fruits, and vegetables. There will also be a meeting point with seating for more in-depth discussions with the association’s team.
Organic and Vegan – From the Field Onwards
Biocyclic vegan agriculture goes beyond the standards of traditional organic farming by excluding commercial livestock farming and animal-based inputs such as manure or bone meal. Instead, it relies on purely plant-based cycles, composting, and systematic humus building. This method ensures that products are not only organic but also consistently “vegan from the field.”
“We are delighted to showcase our vision of sustainable agriculture that eliminates livestock farming while presenting tangible products that make this future a reality today,” says Alina Gieseke, project manager of the second phase of the “Vegan Organic Farming” initiative, funded primarily by the German Environment Agency.
Events at the Space Experience the World of Planetary Health (7-751)
In the event space Experience the World of Planetary Health, the organisation will host three biocyclic vegan cooking shows to highlight the diversity and quality of biocyclic vegan products. Attendees can learn how plant-based meals can be both delicious and sourced from biocyclic vegan farming. Additionally, the association is organising a panel discussion on the opportunities and challenges of biocyclic vegan agriculture, particularly how this farming method can connect consumers with agricultural practices. Solutions for spreading a sustainable, resource-efficient food system will be explored with key stakeholders

Biocyclic Vegan Agriculture: Building Bridges Between Urban Veganism and Rural Farming
When confronted with veganism, rural communities often respond with resistance, while urban dwellers may lack an understanding of agricultural practices. Biocyclic vegan agriculture bridges this gap by incorporating vegan principles into farming and fertilisation. How can this approach be made accessible to all? This panel will explore solutions with two biocyclic vegan farmers and a representative from the vegan retail sector.
Panelists:
- Daniel Hausmann (Biohof Hausmann, Biocyclic Vegan Vegetable Farmer)
- Maik Möller (Future Manager of the TransFARMed Farm Möllers Morgen)
- Moritz Möller (CMO, Marketing & Product Management at Veganz Group AG)
